Hey, that's a good one!

I guess the Green one isn't a bad comparison. Late Toronto days/early LA days would be nice.

RC21...Edmonds and Rasmus do have the same type of uppercut swing. I guess after seeing Rasmus run on that video this morning, that's the part I was thinking of mostly in comparison to Jimmy...aside from the current body structure. They seems very different in running.

If he plays good defense, runs well and goes for 25/25, I'll be very happy.

Yeah, don't get me wrong- I'd be pretty happy if he follows Green's career arc. Green was a monster for a few years.

Yes he was. It's just hard to remember with the way he's played lately.

At some point, he became the AAA version of Chris Duncan.

Ask Scott Speizio. He'll tell you, and he'll even refer you to the WS ring that he just got because of Green's OF play in last year's LCS.

Cute Shawn Green story...last season when the Mets got him for next to nothing, Jason Smith (die-hard Met fan) was ecstatic about the trade. Apparently they were confusing Green with his early days. Anyways, Keith Law came on and took the air right outta smith and told him that Green sucks and he hated the move. Smith sounded like his best friend moved away. "So, you really-you really don't think it was a good move?"

The physique is similar, but Rasmus will draw a lot more walks than Finley ever did. Finley's career path is... unusual.
