Didn't Z hit his bomb in the bottom though? IMO he went up 5-0 and lost his focus. Doesn't seem to be the most stable atom in the nuclear pile.

The 670AM Score guys are pretty anti-Cub, so I don't know how valid their observations on Soriano's-supposed-misplay-messing-up-Z are.

Everybody's been waiting for this type of thing almost as much as a rolling Cubs juggernaut.

I kept hitting the Score on comm break so I got Homer Harry Tienowicz (sp?) on 1000.... objectivity isn't real easy to find on Chicago radio, is it? He kept going on about Z needing "Hank White" Blanco behind the plate instead of Barrett. Even Yurko was perceptive enough to point out that Z had given up 1 hit through the first 4 innings.

Am I a bit premature in saying that I think Rich Hill's currently taking over the ace role on the Cubs? For the better or the worse, depending on your position. He's been hands-down the Cubs best pitcher since last July and has decked out that BB/9 to go with the Ks.
