well Duncan has been in the lineup lately against a lot more lefties... not sure about today as Im assuming he had the day off, but I could see him getting the day off cause Gorzelanny has made everyone on the Cardinals seem like they cant do anything...

I think 2 of Duncan's 3 homeruns have come off lefties, and in reality he seems to be driving the ball better against lefties than even righties as he is waiting back on the offspeed and hitting their mistake fastballs...

Im optimistic about this team with everyone seemingly in a funk outside of him and even Eckstein, but you are starting to see people bound out of it with Rolen beginning to hit the ball and finding holes..

now if Pujols, and Edmonds can get out of their funks then this could be something worth watching again...

He has mad power. Hes getting to a point where hes hitting for some average. Im tellin ya, hes a cornerstone guy.
Wow. That is a heckuva statement. I hope you are right.

He's definitely no Bob Hamelin, though.

What a classic name drop.

The Cards' OPS as a team is currently 650, dead last in the NL. Duncan's is 1173, and he's currently 4th on the team in ABs. So... yeah, I think it's time for Dunc to play every day.

I don't think we should forget his stunning diving skills either.

Gotta go with the hot hand. Dunc's been great lately. Let's see what he can do with lefties.
