Some schmo dropped Lance Berkman in one of my leagues.....so I snatched him up. AAhhh Thank You.

Yep, apparently this guy doesn't know what he's doing. He picked up Hawpe when he dropped him. #-o He's brand new to this league I'm in, so he must be just starting to learn about fantasy baseball. I took advantage. :twisted:

Something similar happened to me the first year I played fantasy baseball.

A buddy of mine dropped Barry Zito when he was 1-2. I snatched him up. This was 2002 when Zito went 23-5 with a 2.75 ERA.

I had already drafted Randy Johnson in the 1st round (24-5, 2.32 era, 334 SO) and AP in the 2nd. Thanks to a ridiculously injury-free year, I came out on top.

The best part was, I passed the aforementioned guy for first place in the last week of the season to take the title.

His big replacement for Zito halfway through the season was Jason Simontacci. :lol: :lol: :lol:
