All of a sudden, yahoo this year is listing a number of top prospects who have never played a game in MLB.
This is a big problem in one of my leagues, that has a rule on in-season pickups that you can't add players who aren't in the yahoo system yet.
Someone noticed Lincecum is listed in Yahoo and picked him up for $1.
Now, if we don't change our rule, i'm going to have to bid on Homer Bailey, Phil Humber, etc.

For Lincecum, I think it depends on how many bench spots your league allows. If it's a lot, you can take a chance that he'll get called up before August.vinsanity wrote:What do you guys think of Droppin Lowe to pick up Lincecum? Or even hughes when he comes up?
For Hughes, try to get him as soon as he's listed. He might be in the rotation for good, and if he's halfway decent he'll get a lot of wins with that Yankee lineup.
