Interesting thought on Soriano. It made me remember that Lonnie Smith used to lead the league in assists, too, because baserunners tended to take chances on him and he'd throw 'em out.

I can't think of a pitcher more dependent on his defense. His ERA in Busch last season was a shade under 7 and he was still 8-8.

why is it that TLR is using Wilson against a righty instead of Spiezio?
I have a hard time seeing why Wilson is even on the team, but if he is going to play, it should be against lefties only, or pinch hitting only.
JMO.
