Why would you do that?
I dunno. I don't think Cordero is gonna give me many saves because the nationals suck.
That's true, but Meredith isn't going to give you any at all, and Cordero doesn't hurt you in other categories like a JoBo or a Todd Jones.
Yeah. Between Cordero and Bobby Jenks I'm in pretty good shape. I'll just stand pat.

I just traded Wheeler for Cordero in one of my leagues.

There's nothing wrong with Cordero is there? I just picked up Wheeler off the pile last week. Seems like Cordero is a much better bet, especially to keep his job ... why would that guy want to do that?

My guess is the other guy is betting on Wheeler succeeding in the closer role and getting more saves than Cordero. Cordero is a better bet to keep his job, but is also a slight health risk, due to his high workload over the past 2 seasons.

I've been offered Bedard for Zimmerman. I have a couple of 3B now, and need another starter. Bedard has been awful thus far though.

Thoughts?

That's a tough one. Who's your other 3rd basemen? Is this a keeper league? I wouldn't do that deal if it were a keeper league.

Not a keeper, and I have Upton/Cabrera for 3B now.

I'm leaning towards it as Zimmerman just won't get a ton of RBI's/Runs scored due to that lineup/park.

Bedard has a lot of hype, but I'm not a big fan. Too inconsistent for me.

As long as he stays healthy, Zimmerman is the man in that lineup. I wouldn't sell low on him.
