Dear Carlos,

Thank you for rewarding me by allowing you to start for my fantasy team today in what was your last start for me. Your K's, ERA, and WHIP were all very good. Also, thank you for giving up the dinger to Fielder since both he and Braun are also on my team, but you already knew that.

Thank you for kicking Barrett's ass and thank you for driving Pinella mad. Both are very entertaining and I hope you keep it up all year long.

However, it still took you 117 pitches to get through 6 2/3. This fact alone gives me absolutely zero regret for trading you. I think you will remain horribly inconsistent for the rest of the year, except for maybe one month when you manage 4-5 wins and a sub-2 ERA. Now I can return to rooting against you with all my heart and not waste any time every 5th day pondering whether or not to start you.

I'm sure that you will still get a nice big contract this off season. Please donate some of that money to charity.

Nah, after the ejection yesterday we could always have pitched Lilly.

Z, thus far at least, has shown no signs of arm fatigue, but the Cubs have somewhat of a track record of overthrowing pitchers (Thanks Dusty). I worry about it, but he is a big boy. I want the Cubs to resign him.

He obviously had a good game, but then again, the Astros offense is pretty punchless.
