Memphis lost 11-8 to the Albuquerque Isotopes on a walk off homerun by John Gall. Anthony Reyes gave up 2 runs over 7 innings with 6 strikeouts. Rick Ankiel went 2 for 4 with a homer. Box Log

Springfield won 10-3 against the Tulsa Drillers. Jaime Garcia gave up 3 runs over 6 and a third innings with 6 strikeouts. Jason Motte added a scoreless innings with a strikeout. Jarrett Hoffpauir went 4 for 5 with a double. Tyler Greene was 1 for 2 with a homer and walk. Box Log

Palm Beach lost 9-1 to the Tampa Yankees. Gary Daley gave up 6 runs and had to be pulled in the second inning. Last night I talked about Trey Hearne’s struggles since the beginning of May. Daley’s struggles have been almost as severe:

. Although there are 3 good starts in there, the last three are absolutely terrible. I don’t see how they can stick with both Daley and Hearne. At least one of them will probably be replaced soon. On the positive side tonight, Luke Gregerson pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout, Brandon Yarbrough was 2 for 4, and Jose Martinez was 1 for 3. Box Log

Rick needed that to get back to almost an RBI a game.

It sure would be nice if he actually hit better as the season wears on but I'm somewhat reserved.

Memphis was leading 8-2 after 7 when I went to bed. Anthony Reyes may never get a "W".
