Kennedy or Miles?
I'm to the point of preferring Miles over Kennedy as the starting day-in/day-out 2nd baseman. Kennedy doesn't hit a lick with his uppercut swing which results in numberous harmless popups. Also, his range appears to be extremely limited.
Am I missing something? Is Kennedy just having a slow start like Edmonds, Rolen, and Pujols? Is he as limited in range as I am perceiving?

At this point I would throw Miles in over Kennedy any day of the week...
Kennedy is hitting .215 on the year... was it a slow start? Yes, but at the same time you have to start wondering now... And his defense has seemed questionable over the course of the season as well.
Now if you throw MIles in there every day will he be a spark plug, or will he wind up being another Kennedy? My thought is why not keep Miles in there and see what he can do for awhile...
At the same point though you may have to do the platoon situation and see what happens there as TLR has been doing so far.

Are you kidding? Miles is like the worst baseball player to ever play baseball since Abner Doubleday kicked Solomon Skillethands out of the first baseball game ever. He's hollower than the Jim Edmonds easter bunny!

Seriously, while not a great offensive talent, Miles is getting the job done moreso than Kennedy. Miles OPS is .613--definitely not great. But Kennedy is at .565--a whole lot worse. They're probably just going to have to platoon and go with whoever gets hot (assuming one of them ever gets hot).
