Trade Tim Hudson for Bill Hall?

Post by TheoSqua »

This is a standard 5x5 league (avg, r, hr, rbi,sb, & w,sv,k,era,whip)
I'm currently first or second in every pitching catagory (totals)
and last or second-to-last in every batting catagory.

I'm not sure if I should do this. It seems like it's trade high and sell low, but i don't want to deplete my pitching too much.

So does anyone think Bill Hall will start hitting like it's last year, or would this be a bad deal?

here's my current team:

C Carlos Ruiz
1B Mark Teixeira
2B Marcus Giles
3B Chone Figgins
SS Miguel Tejada
OF Barry Bonds
OF Bobby Abreu
OF Lance Berkman
Util Frank Thomas
BN Alex Gordon
BN Pat Burrell
DL Mike Piazza

SP Chris Young
SP Jake Peavy
RP Jason Isringhausen
RP Francisco Cordero
P David Weathers
P Kiko Calero
P Matt Cain
BN Zach Duke -
BN John Smoltz
BN Derek Lowe
BN Tim Hudson
BN Mark Hendrickson

I'd try to get more for Huddy.

I don't know if Hall is going to recover.

Hall will probably recover, but I still wouldn't do that deal.

Looking at your lineup, I don't see Hall being better than your current SS, 3B, or OF from here out. Hudson is fading, but I think you could still get something better.
