Rivera for Konerko?

Post by planet planet »

I've been offered Konerko for Rivera. I have Helton and C. Jackson as 1st base options and I have Papelbon, Saito, and Reyes as my other closer options. Having four good closers is a strength, but will Konerko turn it around? It is a keeper league, but I don't think that factor in too much.

I would make a counter and ask for Nick Swisher and put Drew on the bench until he decides he wants to earn his 15 million.

I keep Drew on the bench, except for nights like tonight, when Jackson isn't playing. I appreciate you taking a look at my team before you responded though. :P

Having 4 closers is great. But having 3 first basemen? I can't see a real advantage to that, unless you are allowed to have a huge bench
