This win lowered Springfield’s magic number to 3 (and it might fall to 2 as Tulsa is currently trailing in their game against Arkasas). Kevin Ool gave up 12 hits but only 2 runs over 6 innings of work. That means that so far I’ve gone 0 for 2 with my predictions for this series in Wichita, but I don’t mind being wrong here. Colby Rasmus went 1 for 4 with a homer and also reached base with a hit by a pitch. Bryan Anderson went 3 for 4 and also had a walk. Tyler Greene went 2 for 5 with a double and a homer. Mark Shorey was also 2 for 5. Box Log
got great seats...me and my pa went...right behind the card dugout, 20$...just some comments...rasmus homer in the first was awesome...straight shot...he didn't make any diving or "fantastic" catches but he glided around CF and made some plays look quite easy...really enjoyed watching him...mather is a beast...he's freakin' huge...definite power swing...and it seemed like he and rasmus were tight...be cool if they could progress together...greene's homer was a bomb, even better than rasmus...he made some slick defensive plays as well...my dad like watching danielson play...and yea...anderson...he was "quiet" but awesome (offensively)...and he made some good blocks...ool wasn't overpowering but got the job done...and cooper seemed to be throwing pretty hard (no gun)...my dad tried to get rasmus' autograph before the game but got ignored...we're prolly gonna go friday night, weather acceptable and such...

my phone pictures first, then my dads good camera...

It seems like he's on fire, but he's only hitting .286 over his last 10 games. Granted, he has 3 HRs and 9 RBIs in this time, so that's good. Then again, he has 10 K and 1 BB in those 10 games. (sorry, just saw that NP said about the same thing.)

I'm still somewhat optimistic for him.

The guy that's really on fire that I'm excited about is Anderson. Over his last 10, he's hitting .378 with 1 HR and 6 RBI. That 1 HR is his only extra base hit, though. He's got 4 K and 2 BB, so that's not too bad either.

He's up to 304/370/427 on the season.

Like the pics that were added. Greene's bigger than Rasums. You'd never really think that I guess.

What an ugly field.

Thanks for the pics.

Is Mather the hulking blond guy with the long curls?

My God, that stadium is hideous.
