Not really. I was just responding to doc, because I don't think it is just a message board to everyone here.

It's certainly more than that to me. I didn't mean it as a negative.

Thrill: I am taking this quote word by word. That's a very bold statement. Only time will tell.

It is just a message board...
Apparently to some it is more.
I dont know if this was directed at me.

Anyway, some people do take this more than just a message board because they spend hell a lot of time over here. It has became integral part of their life. Just look at urself and see how much you all freak out when GRB goes down. It shouldn't be that way, but unfortunately for many people it is. Different people will take this differently.

I dont think I have much to add. I love this place and I'll be a regular here. That's all.
It's ok Dill, I think some feelings are hurt and nerves are a bit frayed, that happens after people have been interacting for a while. You are still da man!

The disrespect for the people that helped build this place is unreal.

That quote alone doesn't provide the context for what I actually said.

It came across as, anyone who leaves won't really be missed and the site won't suffer, screw them.

Or at least that's how I read it. Maybe I'm way off, I don't know.

BMS pretty much read it how I took it.

lp and bms, this is where thrill explained his comments. There's seems to be some dissatisfaction on some posters' part and as has been mentioned on this thread, you can't please everyone. If people are going to leave, they're going to leave.

I'd like to think that I've helped build this place as well, as my pathetically high post total might show.

I've had at least one disagreement with probably each moderator, as well as most every mainstay on this forum. Each time, myself and the other party were able to be amicable about the situation. At some point, people have to end up agreeing to disagree.

I think the moderators have done a fine job trying to keep things civil and fair across the board. If some feel they are disrespected and can't reach an amicable impasse with a moderator or a fellow poster, then it is their decision to post elsewhere if they wish. I think the moderators have tried to make things as good as possible for the highest number of people possible. You can't please everyone, and they're only Regular Joe's, just like the rest of us.

If anyone thinks I'm an a-hole for saying that, PM me and we can discuss.
