It'd be a coup if Mike Anderson can get him, and a nice big step in the right direction for the program.

He's also got some inroads with Birminghamian DeMarcus Cousins, who is maybe the top prospect in the country for the '09 class.

But this coming class is huge for his success at Mizzou, considering everything that is graduating at once.

I mentioned this in the Grimes thread, but it's probably more suitable for this thread. A local kid, Michael Porter, is making a visit to MU in the next few weeks. Porter's class of '09, and he's already a 2-time, first team All Stater in class 4 in MO. SLU should be after him as well. He certainly won't be a problem as a qualifier. If he can grow another 2 inches or so, neither team may have a shot at him anyway.
