Upon first glance, I would second that opinion. However, I don't know the 2 teams' respective situations regarding roster needs, nor the size of the league.

I thought this might be a keeper league, but I hope, I pray, that I am wrong about that... When the league was concieved we talked about it. Either way, I'm sitting here wondering why anybody in their right mind would trade COLE HAMELS for JASON ISRINGHAUSEN in ANY league, much less a keeper league, no matter HOW BAD they needed a closer... I'm not going to veto it, just thought I'd note how fishy it was, because it makes no sense. Hamels should be able to land you Bobby Jenks or KRod or Nathan AND some.

seems like the deal has worked out pretty well for the izzy guy in the short term

Yeah, since Hamels went on the DL not long afterward. The other managers are still arguing over whether or not this was supposed to be a keeper league, and how that would effect the meaning of that trade.
