Re: LJ
Last I read, they were close to an agreement for a new contract. I still think Addai's riskier than Johnson. He does have serious breakout potential, but Addai hasn't been the sole featured RB yet and Dungy's said his load might increase to 18-19 carries a game. That's still not a ton.omaha_red wrote:i know i know.. but is his holdout going to effect his play??planet pujolsian wrote:Yes, you should pick Johnson.

Re: LJ
I would avoid LJ like the plague. After the number of carries he had last season, I'd be surprised if he makes it 8 games before he's gassed and/or injured. Buyer beware.
If Jackson is still available at #3, I'd take him instead.
If you're looking for a breakout back that you could grab in a 5th or 6th round, Mike Martz is very high on Tatum Bell in Detroit. Likes his quickness and moves, and we know how Martz likes to work that into his system (Faulk). Teams are going to double-team both Johnson and Williams in the red zone, so he's going to have some pretty open looks for touchdowns. You can thank me later.

Jackson won't be available at 3 unless you are in a draft with "morans." I would take Addai and Gore over LJ. Once pick 5 rolls around, it's hard to pass on LJ because he represents amazing value should he defy the odds and complete another healthy season. Even if he gets hurt for a few games, the ones he plays will give you top tier numbers.
