What up now?

Post by thrill »

How bad isn't this team?

12 team league, scoring heavily favors touchdowns.
qb - Eli Manning
RB - Larry Johnson
RB/WR - Cedric Benson
RB/WR - Brandon Jacobs
WR - TJ Houshmanzadeh
TE - Vernon Davis
K - Jason Hanson
D - Bills
Bench
WR - Andre Johnson
WR - Reggie Brown
WR - Bernard Berrian
WR - Kevin Curtis
RB - Brandon Jackson

I've got some talent at WR, so I'll just see who sticks and drop or trade the rest. I'm trying to trade Ced Benson and Bernard Berrian for Bulger and the Chargers D. I think it'll be accepted, but this is my team for now.

I'd like it a lot better if the Bulger trade goes through, and if it didn't have ticking-time-bomb-LJ on it.

QFT. It sure seems like he's done it with smoke and mirrors.

It's not that--he's a legitimately good back. But the Chiefs line isn't what it was, and he had a NFL record number of carries last season. Plus he just got his big payday. If he's not injured/ineffective before week 6, I'll be amazed.

I'd be wary of Romo and Sexy Rexy as my QB's, but outside of that I like it. LT is obviously awesome. Edge is a good bounce-back possibility. Receivers are solid. Davis could be a TE stud.

Yeah, I'm really wary but there is no one out there worth picking up, so I'll need competance out of those two.

I also have the waiver request in for Michael the Burner Turner in as I type.

That's a pretty awesome team. Edge is a great back to take #24/25. Romo isn't too bad a QB in a 12 team league considering he sacrificed a top QB for a solid rest of the team. Grabbing Turner makes your #1 RB spot practically invincible.

Brandon Jackson is a questionable #3 back, as he'll compete with Morency, but I'm high on him this year. He's my #4 back in 2 or 3 leagues.

I was the high scorer in 3 of my 4 leagues (every league I started Romo in).
