Yahoo Salary Cap Football

Post by clevername »

so I was bored and created a team in the yahoo Salary Cap Football game. Figured I'd create a group if anyone else here is interested.

For those unfamiliar with the game (I've known of it but this is the first season I've done it), you get a salary cap of $100 million that you can spend to fill your standard roster (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, DEF). You can change/sell any player each week but every roster spot has to be filled and you have to be under $100 to get points.

The key is that the player you have on your roster will stay at the value from a salary cap standpoint that you bought them for even if their performance leads to an increase in value in the game. When/if you decide to sell high, you get the full value the player is worth in the game at that time. So, getting sleepers at low prices early can help your team tremendously.

Of note, each team gets to pick from the entire player universe. If one team signs LT, another team in the group can sign him, as well. It's all about building your team using your money for the best value, not who owns individual players.

group id is 11587. password is cards.

no, not locked. I guess it'll stay open indefinitely, but it would be much advised to get in before the season starts this weekend.

Yeah, that's me in there.

Man that's tough! TEs, Ks and Ds are all expensive which throw you off.

Dudes, I'd get this done tonight if you want a shot at any Indy or NO players.

I'm at $99.27, and that was tough!
