This post, poster's outrage aside, made me remember a previous question that I had. How much "dead money" do we have this year?
Part of Mulder
Part or all of Carpenter
Part of Clement (maybe)
Spiezio
Kinney
Encarnacion
I know that all teams deal with this. But, wow, that's a ton of money. Other than the Yannkees, any other teams have that much in lost money?
It was pretty close to being that bad last year too, when you factored in how much Edmonds and Rolen were making compared to their PT and production on the field. Great deals when they were signed, but they were anvils tied around the Cards' neck last year.
