I really, really like the fact that Tony plans on giving Duncan and Ankiel at bats against lefties. I wish it would continue into the regular season, though.
I wish they could trade for draft picks in baseball. If that were true, I'd love to see Gonzalez make the club and be an amazing hitter for a month or two. Then, have the Cards trade him for a second or third round pick. But, can't happen. So, unless he's going to hit 30 HR and drive in 100, I don't want him on the team.

On a similar note of how we fare against lefty pitching, one of the things I really liked about acquiring Troy Glaus is that he does rather well against lefties. No more of this "Joe Schmo from minor leagues makes his first career start in the majors shuts down Cardinals for 8 innings because he throws with his left hand" stuff, or at least a little less than in the past I hope.
