Well it's settled then. There are no other options besides wasting Wainwright and 6.30 ERA Izzy. Russ Springer is old and has had Mariano Rivera's ERA+ since coming to the Cardinals. Not an option. Putting Wainwright in rotation would "be a luxury" they can't afford right now. Good grief.Drama Queen wrote:Wainwright belongs in the ninth inning.
Period.
And he should prepare in the minors accordingly.

What did he think he was doing out there?
He struck out Kent.
He got a pop up.
Didn't pitch to contact... didn't sink the fastball...
Get him back down to Memphis.

And now this:
I like opinion pieces based on a huge unmentioned caveat.I endorsed Waino as the closer only because I didn't think there was a chance of La Russa giving Perez a shot. That's why.

I just got banned for quoting what Bernie said yesterday in that thread, with the word "weird" after it.

I think Bern is ready for football season. He sure has a lot of moving goalposts.haltz wrote:And now this:

No. Oddly enough I did that during the Cubs series and didn't get banned. That's why I'm not sure why I really got banned.arnie.k wrote:did you quote him as "fatty mcgoo" to his face too?InvincibleCakeEater wrote:lol
