And someone asked about the wind: Weather Channel says 12 MPH out of the N. That means blowing in from LF, right?
That means the wind is blowing out to left center.
That's the case when the wind is coming from the N?
Wouldn't it be easier to say the wind is blowing south?
That's what I took it to mean when it says 11 MPH N

It seems the Cards always lose the first game against the Cubs, I hope they can change that today.

Well, I'll just add MLB Gameday's take to add to the confusion:
MLB Gameday wrote:11 mph, In from CF.

Why do I have the feeling that having a LF inexperienced with the winds of Wrigley is going to come back to bite us today?

[-o< I'm wrong....

Looks like you're right then. Saying the source of the wind instead of what direction it's going seems odd to me.

Would you rather it be Lopez?

I would love to see Aram get plunked about 4 times this weekend.

Pregame quotes from NSBB
Ryan Ludwick and Rick Ankiel picked the wrong weekend to misplace their HGH stash.
OK Cubs, it's time to stick a fork in these turkeys. BEAT THESE BUMS.
Can we please throw a couple high and tight pitches to Ludwick in this series?
And somebody "Seconded" that last quote.

No, I'd rather it be Schumaker with Ankiel in CF, but looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow for that.
