Glaus flies out to left. Soriano guns down Mather at the plate. Inning over.

2-1 Cardinals

Next:

3. Lee(1-2)
4. Ramirez(1-1, BB)
5. Fukudome(0-2, 4 LOB)
Eeeek, I really hope we hold onto this lead
Our relievers blow leads like this in their cat naps.....
If our bp blows our chance of winning 1 this series, I'm going to break into busch stadium and take a dump in the bullpen
take it in that cooler car they drive.

What I'm not liking is that Lee and Ramirez are guaranteed to bat again in this game.

We need a multi-run lead heading into the bottom of the 9th.

Look at the replay and tell me he didn't get his hand in there before the tag..

I don't really have a beef with it because the ball beat him...but he sure looked safe to me
Did he slide headfirst into home?

Dan and Al now discussing how Mather should have lowered his shoulder on Soto.

Lee flies out to Ludwick. 1 out.
Ramirez pops out to Pujols. 2 outs.
Fukudome grounds out to short. Inning over.

Next:

6. Molina(0-2, K)
7. Izturis(1-2, 2B)
8. Looper(0-2, 2 K)

the fact that we're holding them down is only going to hurt worse when
they win on a ninth inning homer..
