So, as misguided as I might be, at first glance I think it might help Obama.
But McCain could also turn around and hold it up as an achievement and rationalization for voting for the war. I don't underestimate the GOP's ability to take what has amounted to a catastrophe and a massive loss of lives and use it as a feather in their cap.

If the war mongerer wins, I'm fully expecting him to land on an aircraft carrier, proclaim "mission accomplished" then announce that America is declaring war on Iran.

We're down to three.

Biden, Clark and Gore.

Someone wrote at Kos that the SS has been sent to Biden's house.

I just can't see it being Gore.

I can't either, but if it was... wow. Just a total mind blowing moment. Can you imagine the explosion?

I hope it's Biden, though, if not Gore.

Dick Morris and Sean Hannity had a ball tonight. Morris thinks Obama had to pick Hillary to get women voters, but didn't because he's scared.

And they think it's funny that Obama is picking someone who criticized him during the debate. Someone needs to inform Sean that the only thing Willard and Maverick have in common is that they hate each other.

Sure sounds like Biden. Interesting choice if true.

If it's true about Biden, I like the pick. Although it obviously helps combat the argument that he's weak on foreign policy, it's not the type of (strictly) politically driven pick that I've seen argued that he should make (Hillary to win back women, Kaine to help win a valuable state, etc.)
