We pretty much have to sweep these two games to have much chance, yes? If we drop both the season is pretty much over. Splitting doesn't do a whole lot either. As well as MIL is playing against everyone else it will be tough to make up more than a couple games the rest of the way with no more head to heads. Hopefully Welly is on his A game because Sheets isn't going to make things easy.

I know what you are saying, but since there is nothing between us and Milwaukee they really can't knock us out for good. They can put us to the mat, dazed and confused, but we would be able to get up at the 9 count and fight on.

But, having said that, TLR needs to manage these two games as if we are down 3-2 in the World Series.

I thought getting swept at home against the Royals was worst

Swept by Brewers meant losing 4 games to them in the standings. The Brewers only gain games on the Birds during the KC sweep by winning their own games.

Depends on how worse is defined here I guess.
