It's so quiet that I just heard a fan screaming something like "C'mon Cardinals, get your heads out of your". I missed the last part.

I'm not saying this is the end of the season (yet), but if it is, this team has overachieved all year and have made this summer more enjoyable than I thought it would be.

I need to feel a sense of urgency that doesn't appear to be present tonight.

Cecil Fielder looks like he can swallow Aaron Miles.

They can compete with the Brewers. But you don't win cames taking crummy atbats with men on base or having a manager leave a pitcher in too longstlouie_lipp wrote:Or, they just aren't as good as the Brewers?Radbird wrote:I need to feel a sense of urgency that doesn't appear to be present tonight.

They are losing games because they aren't as good of a team. Blame it on bad ABs if you want, but there is a reason that the Brewers have kicked the Cards ass all year.fanforever wrote:They can compete with the Brewers. Without a sweep of this series, I'd say the season is pretty much over, yeah.stlouie_lipp wrote:I'm not saying this is the end of the season (yet), but if it is, this team has overachieved all year and have made this summer more enjoyable than I thought it would be.
