I've skipped some of the term papers on various subjects, but have read probably 90% of it.

Re: Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin: The Thread
I've enjoyed and learned a great deal from this thread. One thing that's always bothered me on the higher educational issue front is that it usually benefits the wealthy and those less fortunate. Wealthy people are only burdened by the admission standards (and sometimes not even then, depending upon who they know or if they're a legacy with generous parental donors). The less fortunate have financial aid, coupled with a talented prospective student, and that goes a long way. The middle class, on the other hand, has a much more difficult financial road ahead. PLUS loans for parents only covers so much. Prospective middle class students carry much more of a financial burden which is unfortunate, especially since it represents such a big portion of our population, thus a bigger talent pool than either of the aforementioned economic groups. In my opinion, the cutoff for financial aid is ridiculously low and families simply can't afford it.

Apparently Mitt Romney will attack Michelle Obama tonight and the Obama campaign has already put out a statement. Silly Republicans.

Mitt Romney's speech is awful. I can't believe anyone thought he could make a run for the presidency.

If the Republicans want to have any hope they need to stop the attacks, and give a speech like Obama's that outlines what they are going to do to change this country for the better.

McCain's going to rid the world of all Islamic extremism!
He also referred to Palin as Senator Palin.

Huckabee's speech is the best yet.
Edit: although he just went downhill quickly.
