Could be.
Probably his presentation was more damning than anything else. But you're right...... it very well may have been scripted for him, but the "choreographers" surely didn't do their job.

It's the same type of people the other side surrounds themselves with. They are doing what they think is in their best interests to win the election, period. Obama is playing a card, and McCain and his people are doing the same thing.
One might disgust you (it did me, too), but it's pretty circumstantial who is playing bad cop in a given election.
Yeah, for every Karl Rove on one side, there's a Paul Begala or James Carville on the other. Slime knows no party boundaries.

I don't know, I see a slight McCain upswing here:
Not surprising. But how much more of an upswing could there have been if Giuliani hadn't acted like Otis Campbell trying to get Barney re-elected as deputy of Mayberrry?

Yes, that's his living room.
His wife must really love colors.
You should see the rest of the house. It gets worse.

They gained four points in three days. Something went right. I don't know what happened in the alternate universe.

What's a standard, post-convention spike? I know it exists, but I really have no idea what the norm is. I do know that the Dems- according to a CNN article that I saw- didn't get much of a spike at all.
Also, I did not know that Barney was ever mayor of Mayberry. But given his community roots there, it doesn't surprise me.

I think it has more to do with McCain being even more relevant (the RNC) than anything that was actually done.
