What's the hold-up here?

JoeyBombs lose their effectiveness if you don't drop them right away.

I think I'm voting Obama because BAron Davis endorses him.

Could the McCain of 2000 re-emerge now that he has appeased the base with his VP pick?

Interesting thought.
Wouldn't that sort of move sap any of the genuine nature out of his "straight talk"?

This is an excellent point, PP. Anyone remember the privatization of SS plan? Rolling Stone brought this up: Republicans were actually convincing people to finance their own impovershment.
How does it finance your own impoverishment to give you control of your SS $$ and allow you to invest them in something that makes more the 2-4% interest per year??? I wish SS would go away and people would be made to save their own money for retirement.

Don't worry, SS will go away...but the taxes for them won't

Please do. It's an off day.

Plus everyone is looking for that one special JoeyBomb that will shut down this thread for good.
I wanted to do this back when this thread was around page 100.

Five Year Federal Government Bonds earn more interest than SS.
