Holy [expletive]. Jim Cramer, the host of Mad Money, just went on the Today show (or something) and told everyone to get their money out. He said any money you might need in the next 5 years, take it out now no matter the price. The market is going to lose another 20% or so and won't rebound for a long time.
Wow.
Wow.

Thanks Jim Cramer, that will help stabilize things. What kind of douche goes on national tv and says things like this? Hopefully people don't listen.

What a fool. Any good money manager will give you this advice no matter the market. Money you need in the next 5 years should not be invested in stocks. So DUH.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:Holy [expletive]. Jim Cramer, the host of Mad Money, just went on the Today show (or something) and told everyone to get their money out. You're right it's a DUH, but I'd be willing to bet that there is more than a small minority of people out there who have their money in the stock market with the intention to use that money in the next 5 years.Michael wrote:What a fool. If the quote above is correct, that's not what he was implying. It sounds to me in different market conditions he'd be fine with investing that money. Perhaps I'm reading too much into the quote.

It could be. I don't even know who the person is. But it could be that he's saying to the people have benefitted over the past couple of years with a short-term stock market strategy, that it's time to stop gambling and take your losses.Michael wrote:If the quote above is correct, that's not what he was implying.
