Wasn't the dad throwin a huge fit cuz they said colby needed to go to the AFL. Cuz it sure appears that he could have used that development time to work on things that he needed to when it doesn't count.

I thought I read Colby worked his butt off this offseason and came to camp with 10 more lbs of muscle (not an easy thing to do in 4 months). Am I taking crazy pills here?

He did work in the weight room we went to the cards carivan here in spfld and he has increased in size. Everything I heard previous to last fall was that the org wanted him to work on getting more consistent at the plate. But he has put on some muscle.

Also interesting side not. His best plate performance of his career thus far came from working with pop warner manager in aa and pop worked with T.Greene again this last fall, just thought that's interesting.

I have a lot of posting anxiety because of my Dad.

Jack came into the forum this year far removed from being game ready. Its all about peaking at the right time in order to be ready for the season. He went in knowing what he has to do in "Rants/Raves" in order to get to the big "Gameday Threads" in September. He should be fun to read come April, but you guys that have those high hopes for spring training may be disappointed. Got to keep the powder dry for when it counts.

The wink was in reference to keeping the powder dry, in other words, not blowing your wad if it doesn't matter, which it doesn't. Thrill is right, he will and should start in "Other Sports" and he is piddling with some things right now. Last year his mindset was make the moderator staff, and when he didn't he tried to work on some stuff during the season, which was a huge mistake. This year he will work on that stuff in "Site Support and Suggestions" and not where it matters, during game chats. Much wiser is he.

But, the most important thing as far as this year goes is his knowing where he stands with regards to having a chance to make the favorite posters threads. Knowing he is headed to forum obscurity has allowed him to get ready and plan for a successful season in "Social" without expending the energy to make a mark in stat threads when there is no chance, like last year. I have stated earlier, the truth works better with him.

I'd say thanks, but I know that Michael's going to keep me locked out of chats until September...so I am just working though some stuff now.
