I'm just curious to see how long it takes for Soriano to get plunked.

I'm guessing first time he comes up with 2 outs and less than 2 runners on base.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:I'm just curious to see how long it takes for Soriano to get plunked.

1 for 6 with 3 K's. You can't "see" Soriano because he is usually invisible. Unless he's on roller skates out in LF of course.Swingingbunt wrote:I hope it's the first freaking pitch...that was just idiotic last night.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:I'm just curious to see how long it takes for Soriano to get plunked.

Jason Marquis' going for win #13. Whoda thunk? Can the Rockies make the playoffs and leave him off the post season roster again?

Cubs' run of good luck continues; Roy Oswalt exits in the second inning with 2 outs with some undisclosed injury.

Run of good luck? Umm ok, not sure how they have had a run of good luck, but whatever.

Re: Other Games 7/28/2009
"Good luck" might not be the best term. "Good fortune" perhaps including the schedule(Natinals and Reds to open the second half), injuries to the Astros (Berkman, Hawkins, Oswalt) either right before or when the Cubs play them, etc.keener98 wrote:Cronos69 wrote:Cubs' run of good luck continues; Roy Oswalt exits in the second inning with 2 outs with some undisclosed injury.
