They're really milking these events now. Randy/Nog was the only fight I paid much attention to. I spent most of the night letting my buddy's son throw Legos at my head.

Pretty much...

BUT

Nog did look much more like his Pride days...he was able to sweep Randy from his back, which was huge IMO. I wouldn't count him out just yet. (He's the oldest 33 year old in history)

Nate Marquardt had a good KO over Maia, but him calling out Anderson Silva seemed a bit silly...

Jardine needs to be cut.
Leban needs to be cut.

Haha, the Green Ranger is going into MMA. This will end well for him.

It was some dude's magazine rankings article. He's not actually the 12th biggest athlete in England. I loved that falling hammer fist. I was a little hesitant to be so happy about it until Bisbing finally woke up. Then I could laugh. Dana had been hiding him for so long, trying to build up the UFC in England. How anyone could ever think he'd beat Hendo is beyond me. Dan Henderson is a goddam legend, with good reason.
Yeah, the #12 thing it seemed a bit far fetched. My initial reactions was to laugh at the Hendo hammer fist, but then it looked like Bisping might be paralyzed or dead. But the minute he sat up, one of my buddies screamed, "OMG, that was so [expletive] awesome!" The women in attendance were just appalled but the guys erupted in didyoujustseethat happiness.

Spoiler for violence

Not a big MMA fan, but I do enjoy watching the Ultimate Fighter, and I'll watch the other fights if they're on. It seems like they wrestle around on the ground too much, and not enough hitting.

Then I watch a clip like that, and I'm intrigued. The last punch was unneccessary, though he probably likes to hurt people being a professional fighter and all. I always liked Bisping because I liked him on Ultimate Fighter, but he got whooped there.

The PPV events are awfully expensive if you're going it alone, especially when they're throwing out these lackluster cards. Luckily, most of my friends are hockey players that have a taste for violent outbursts, so it keeps costs down. Each guy tosses in 10 bucks or whatever and we take turns hosting. It's an excuse to get the old gang together and pigout on whatever dishes the ladies whip up.

Someone give me a good rason why I shouldn't lay $200 on Machida. Stylistically, this is a nightmare for Rua.

Are there Vegas lines on UFC somewhere? I agree, it's gonna be an ass kicking.

He's a heavy favorite, so I'm gonna parlay he, Bader and Velazquez.
