looks like you have to have your draft completed by the Sunday before the week you want scoring to start, which means we'd have to draft today if we want the opening weekend to count in the league.

I don't think it would be the worst thing in the world to miss the first week since it's only a few days worth of games instead of a full week.

So, if we get 2 more by say, 2pm, I'll let the draft go ahead, if not we can wait until later this week or next weekend and still have the league up and going by the time the first full week of the season comes around.

Just saw this and joined. The Regina Baginas will be dominate. I don't think shots on goals should be a scoring category.

that makes 6, which matches what we had a few years ago so we are a go for this year. Is the draft time ok for everyone? Like to move it forward?

As for the shots on goal, yeah I agree that's not a great stat. Didn't realize that was a default category. Want to change it out with something? Here are the other offensive options: points, PP goals, PP assists, SH goals, SH assists, SH points, game winning goals, shooting percentage, faceoffs won, faceoffs lost. From that list, shorthanded points would seem to fit best since we already have power play points but I imagine it's not a category that would get a lot of results each week.

I agree with SH points.

Does Yahoo not carry the "minutes" category? That's a great stat because it makes your defensemen worth a little more and completely devalues goons.

I agree with SH points.
I don't know. How many SH points will there be each week? 1 or 2 might be enough to win the week which I don't think is a good thing. I vote for faceoffs.

yeah, I kinda agree about SH points. It would be like CG's in baseball.

I've played with face offs won before and that was interesting.

just had something come up for Sunday.

Would everyone be ok with a Saturday draft? Any other days work better for everyone?
