Finally got the Orange Box. Portal is freaking awesome. Exactly the kind of game I wish there was more of. Hope they come out with a stand alone version.

Played Half Life 2 again last night. Forgot how fun and well-made that is.

i've seen some gameplay of "portal" and it looks like a mind fudge, don't know if could handle it...and i believe there is a stand alone version on the xbox live arcade

i believe it was created by Valve, which also does left 4 dead...good company...i've heard team fortress 2 is fun too

I think the current one on Live is the same thing I have. I just meant a longer version.

good ol' wikipedia
Portal: Still Alive was announced as an exclusive Xbox Live Arcade game at the 2008 E3 convention, and was released on October 22, 2008.[44] It features the original game, 14 new challenges, and new achievements

Hmm. Well. Still not enough to justify buying it separately. I turned in two games and got the OB for $4. Not a good time to spend money.

I've never actually bought anything on Live yet either. The whole points thing annoys me.

The reviews for Borderlands are good, but the gaming forums are going crazy for it. I might have to pick it up.

Uncharted 2 is excellent. I'm about halfway through.

Is it shallow of me to be bothered by the animation look?

Uncharted is making me wish I had a PS3.
