The majority of the remains from our first storm in December finally melted away in the rain yesterday...I am not used to seeing the streets in Boston without black/gray ice packed against the curb and covering half of the sidewalk.

And it turned to slush. Should be very icy tonight.

I had to drive a total of approximately three hours in driving both to and from downtown Chicago Monday night, most of which on the way back were in whiteout conditions.

Winter weather can happen any other day of the week so long as it's not Monday.
