Anyone watch the "Breaking Bad" season premiere?

Son of a [expletive], that was this weekend? I just got tired of filling my DVR with the constant re-runs over the past week and canceled my series recording on Saturday.

I couldn't dig up the thread for 'Mad Men' because of word length. But I spent a couple hundred thousand Dong on some bootlegs. And I've got to say it's boring as church. I really like the stuff that happens at the agency, it's all pretty interesting, but the stuff at home is pretty lame. I've watched seven episodes, I'll give it a few more, but I wish someone would have told me it's a show for chicks. It can also be pretty heavy-handed at times.

It became my favorite show on TV very quickly.

I hate that AMC treats it like Mad Men's idiot brother. They pub Mad Men year round. They leave entire past seasons of Mad Men on OnDemand for six months, including a two month run-up to the start of the new season. And that includes all the past seasons on there.

Breaking Bad? Season 2 showed up on OnDemand three weeks ago and I think it's already off. They didn't bother putting Season 1 up there.

I like Mad Men just fine, but I think Breaking Bad stomps it in overall quality.

Sadly, no. The incredible women of Mad Men are the one significant edge I'd give to that show over Breaking Bad. It's not even close.

Bryan Cranston (the dad from Malcolm in the Middle) is a HS chemistry teacher who finds out he has cancer. While accompanying his DEA agent brother-in-law on a meth lab bust, he sees one of his former students fleeing the scene. To pay for his huge medical bills and to leave money behind for his family when he dies, he confronts the former student about selling meth. The deal is that Cranston (character name: Walter White) will make it, the former student sells it.
