Premise for this Breaking Bad show?

Bryan Cranston (the dad from Malcolm in the Middle) is a HS chemistry teacher who finds out he has cancer. While accompanying his DEA agent brother-in-law on a meth lab bust, he sees one of his former students fleeing the scene. To pay for his huge medical bills and to leave money behind for his family when he dies, he confronts the former student about selling meth. The deal is that Cranston (character name: Walter White) will make it, the former student sells it.

I've seen the previews...apparently getting great reviews. I should Netflix it.

It's a fantastic show, and I'm psyched for this season. I just hope that they don't lose that struggle he has with the choices he's made as his rationalizations fade. I suppose they could just keep throwing reasons for him to go along with this life at him as they did at times through the first two seasons, but to hear the producers talk it seems he accepts what he has become this season and they may not have to.

Without getting spoilery, it would seem that the focus of this season- judging purely from the first episode- will be on him paying the price for his choices in the first two seasons. And, of course, I'm guessing it's sure to create more scenarios where he has struggle with new types of choices.

Yeah, I downloaded the S3E1 a few days ago and watched it. Clearly he's going to meet up with those two guys soon (I believe it's next episode), but I doubt they keep him under their thumbs for the entire season, especially given what the producers are saying about the season.

I'm still on board, but I have to be honest, the three month layoff made it lose a lot of steam for me. Hopefully they finally get down to the business of what the Binford's daughter saw in her flashforward next week.

Yeah, the comeback episode was fine, but it's not appointment TV at all. I'll catch it ondemand at some point.
