Two guys the public doesn't know about, but might be two of the best.
After those two get it on, I'd like to see the winner take on my personal favorite-Cotto.
I love watching Cotto go. And against either of those, lookout.
Robbotis: I couldn't find out any info about Cotto's and injury that it looked like he suffered in the Malignaggi fight. Cotto did not look very Cotto-like after huring his hand and I was wondering what the injury was. I know it wasn't broken because he has two more fights scheduled in the next 6 months.

I think he's fine. He'll be fighting in Nov. on the same card as Margarito.
I hope his hand doesn't turn into a Gatti situation where he busts it every fight.
Cotto can throw some punches. In the Torres fight he took some shots and fired bombs back. I love watching him.

I completly concur. Williams is really good. Cotto is the man, but since hes moving up to welterweight he is fighting in December. Showtime is airing his fight since HBO had no room for it. He might be on the same card as the Williams Margarito fight if Showtime gets it.

Yeah- that sucks that HBO dropped Cotto. That's the only reason I've seen him so much. I don't get Showtime :x

That's when YouTube comes in handy

No big surprise here, but Ricky Hatton has given up his 147 belt to go back down to 140.

Link
Hatton will drop back to 140 pounds and fight Colombian IBF champion Juan Urango on Dec. 9 in Atlanta, his promoter said Thursday.

Hatton hopes to fight former two-time WBC lightweight champion Jose Luis Castillo early next year, said promoter Dennis Hobson.

Castillo, fined and suspended for failing to make the weight for his fight against Diego Corrales in June, will likely move up to light-welterweight.
I don't know much about Urango, but Hatton/Castillo should be a great fight if it happens.

I've seen Urango a couple of times on ESPN.
He is another of the Columbians that are invading the middle weights. Knockout artist. It's fitting that his name is Urango because he is built similar to an orangutan.

Will be a good fight.
Both are entertaining fighters.
I would think Hatton could do better than Castillo though. Screw that guy. Missing weight two fights in a row.
Weak.

Everyone excited about the potential "Fight of the year" on HBO this weekend?

http://www.hbo.com/boxing/events/2006/1 ... index.html

Should be a great chance for the silverback/neanderthal Valuev to show off his tremendous boxing skills.

Figures, I just cancelled my HBO package last week. Boxing is going to be hard to follow without it. Now how am I going to fall asleep on the couch Saturday night.

Adamek - Briggs 2 could definetly be the fight of the year. At least for guys above 130. Can't wait.

I also look forward to seeing Valuev for the first time.
He should manhandle him.
