LINKIn one of the most dizzying half-hours in stock market history, the Dow plunged nearly 1,000 points before paring those losses in what possibly could have been a trader error.
According to multiple sources, a trader entered a "b" for billion instead of an "m" for million in a trade possibly involving Procter & Gamble

Who thinks the Euro will survive these member nation sovereign debt crises? If Portugal and Spain need bailouts where is the money going to come from? Germany again?

I mos def think it will survive, but it's possible a few members will get kicked out. Inflation be damned, Greece desperately needs to print money.

Well the Euro is as at a 14th month low against the dollar but I'm not sure that's good for us. Anything that hurts our exports is gonna slow recovery.TimeForGuinness wrote:Any chance the greenback makes a comeback?Michael wrote:G. Wow. In my life I've already seen the S+L crisis, the tech boom and bust, Enron, MCI, the post-Sept 11 oil gouge, the myriad foolhardy decisions and policies that led to the Great Recession, and this European debt shockwave. It sure does seem like the global exposure to idiocy and bankrupt economic thinking is increasing.
