TV Thread - beware, [expletive] can get spoilery

[Vidor]

I can't find a general purpose thread for teevee on this forum. If there is one, maybe this could be a NEW one. Or merge. Or whatever.

Anyway...

"Mad Men" returns on Sunday. It seems they're skipping ahead one year to late 1964. Also: Christina Hendricks Christina Hendricks Christina Hendricks!

Also also: for fans of the Ken Follett novel "The Pillars of the Earth", there's a miniseries version starting on Starz this Sunday. Smoking hot Hayley Atwell plays Aliena.

There's more than one secretary, that one's a fairly minor character--but Lord, all the women in that show are fabulous.

Her best move since running over that guy's foot with the lawn mower.

"Peggy, can you get me some coffee?"

"No."

I'm excited.

I caught an episode of new Futurama. Really good. It's the only one I've seen, but if it's any indication, they haven't lost anything.

"Mad Men"...

I recognize that it's not rational to hate Betty and Henry Francis so, seeing as how Don was unquestionably a bad husband who cheated on Betty with any skirt that came his way--but man do I hate Henry Francis and man did I enjoy Betty's new mother-in-law ragging on her. Maybe it's b/c Betty is such an awful, awful mother.
