I don't need realistic in a comedy. I need funny and not annoying. I find Jane the blond on 30 Rock not funny and annoying. Steve Carrell OTOH has lots of great lines, a bit funny and mostly annoying. His best bits are set ups for Dwight Schrute.

Jenna is really horrible, I agree. I wish they would have phased her out instead of Josh. If they pushed her further into the periphery I'd be happier.

David Brent in the original show had 0 credibility as a manager. Michael Scott is an example of the Peter Principle. He has consistently been portrayed as an excellent salesman. It's not hard to imagine how he got promoted on that basis. How he KEPT the job, OTOH...

Love the Office. My favorite show on TV right now. I agree it's not as good as previous seasons tho. I can't stand Erin. Ryan's character is just stranger and stranger. I've lost complete interest in him too. I love everything else about the show and I'm sure that partially has to do with the fact that anything Steve Carell does makes me die laughing.

I hope so too.
Weeds has sucked big time the last 2 seasons. Looks like this will be #3...

I would be too, but the wife likes it still. So I watch.
I can't think of another show that went from so good(Season 1 & 2) to such horrible garbage(every other second of the show).

Do you ever wonder if a particular show actually sucked the whole time and you just now realized it?

At least it looks like Celia is gone for good.

It's like they come up with something that could be a decent story arc and then completely botch it. The smuggling from Mexico angle was good, and then they have her marry the guy and have a baby?

lol, yes I have

I watched Entourage for awhile even though I knew it sucked.

The first two seasons of Weeds was good though.
