Kenny Powers' speech to the Charros was outstanding.

Mad Men was a letdown after the last few. Hopefully they're just setting some wheels in motion. Didn't like that look at the secretary at the end.JL21 wrote:Boardwalk Empire? Dexter? Mad Men? Anyone?

Re: TV Thread
I hate that the stupid secret past life bull [expletive] keeps popping up. The whole [expletive] show revolves around it. They'd made it most of this season without having to bring it up other than Don's trip to California, and then at the biggest moment of the season, it comes out of nowhere to dominate the season again. Sounds like it should be up for a Daytime Emmy.JL21 wrote:I hate that the stupid secret past life bull [expletive] keeps popping up. The whole [expletive] show revolves around it. Re: TV Thread
My mom was in town a few weeks back, and on Sunday night it was mad men time. She'd never seen the show before. So I quickly tried to explain the Don Draper Secret Life backstory to her.
In the process, I think I said aloud "Holy [expletive], this is a soap opera." But one with a Boobasauras and a constant harping on gender inequality!

Most definitely a soap opera. The client stuff is what keeps me coming back. And this season, we've had the fallout from Don's divorce. Sally Draper's story has been fascinating.heyzeus wrote:In the process, I think I said aloud "Holy [expletive], this is a soap opera."
