I was thinking the same thing. I haven't laughed that much at a Simpson's episode in a long time.robbotis wrote:This week's this Simpsons' had to be written by a Conan croonie.

Plus there's the whole title of it being the exact same as one of my favorite Simpsons episodes of all time.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:I was thinking the same thing. Hot damn Rob Lowe's Brad Pitt impression on Californication is FANTASTIC.

I like SportsDome. I may like the idea of it more than I like the show itself, but it's pretty good, and I think there's promise there. ARod's musical was great.

I missed this week's, but I thought the first one was terrible. They nail the overproduction and crappy personalities of SportsCenter, but beyond that the writing just wasn't funny to me. I'm not sure you can parody SportsCenter for 30 minutes every week. I'll give it another shot.MrSaigon wrote:I like SportsDome. Watched Harry's Law on demand and really liked it. Cape is next, and I have heard not good reviews

It would probably work better if it was a show about the anchors and then followed them to work at SportsDome or something, or if the shorts were in someway incorporated into another show. I want to see these stories, but I agree it could be better.cardsfansince82 wrote:I missed this week's, but I thought the first one was terrible. The Waitress is on that horrible looking new Thursday night show on NBC.

I agree, it was horrible looking. But it was actually really good. I wasn't expecting much (and only DVR'd it because of Olivia Munn), but I was pleasantly surprised. It has some good characters, a la Modern Family, and some decent acting. It's worth a watch, IMHO.MrSaigon wrote:The Waitress is on that horrible looking new Thursday night show on NBC.

Brian Wilson on Lopez Tonight is great. The crowd doesn't get it at all, but he's doing a spot on Zach Galifianakis impression. If he wasn't an amazing MLB closer, he'd be an amazing comedic actor. This is awesome.
