Apparently it is.So, vorb is nothing but a raw-number count of posts? It does nothing to evaluate the contributions of those posts? vorb sounds a little like counting hits and deciding that Eckstein is better than Edmonds. Is that the depth we can expect from 1982 hero Glenn Brummer's namesake???
When judging VORB, we at BSH tend to look at those raw numbers because everything else in blog entries are entirely subjective. For example, you will be breaking down why Juan Encarnacion is one of the worst right fielders in baseball and how the Cardinals might be able to find a short-term solution.
BSH tops that in many ways. We skip past the informative, cutting-edge analysis and all that. Even though we love advanced baseball statistics, it is not our game because frankly, someone smarter has to explain it. Who do we get to do that? Simple. John Kruk. Oh yeah...what other blog in the world is promising John F'n Kruk? I can only tell you one: and that is BSH.
We're appealing to two different crowds: Steverino's Pitch Count goes after the smart baseball fan who likes to improve his knowledge about the game. Brummer Steals Home goes after the SMARTER baseball fan who wants predictions straight from the gut and phrases that have no filter. I can tell you that Mr. Kruk offered a ton of insight, and the stuff came from his brain straight to his mouth with no buffer in between.
