This inning's taking too long...Orioles must have scored, or the MLB interns fell asleep.

No mlb.tv, gameday audio, or xm today! Aaaargh!

At least there are Game Notes.
Cardinals pitching has held opponents to a .215 batting average (64-for-298) in the first four innings of the 20 Grapefruit League games and have allowed 18 runs (17 earned) for a 1.91
ERA...St. Louis leads the Majors with an overall 2.49 spring ERA and has allowed a Major League low five home runs...the staff has carried no hitters into the 5th inning on three occasions (2/28 vs. FLA; 3/4 at FLA; 3/5 vs. HOU) and carried a one-hitter into the 9th on 3/4 at FLA. STARTERS: Cards starters have compiled a 6-0 record and 1.76 ERA (66.1 IP / 13 ER) so far this spring and have surrendered just two home runs.
and
Redbird pitchers combined to shutout the Dodgers last night 13-0...it was the team’s second shutout of the spring (BAL on 3/10)...Reyes becomes the first Cardinals pitcher to last 6.0 innings as he allowed just four hits last night in his 6.0 IP...the four Cards pitchers were helped by the defense who turned five double plays behind them...St. Louis has turned 26 DP’s overall which ranks tied for 2nd in the N.L. behind Florida (27).
and
St. Louis pitchers hold the top three spots among N.L. ERA leaders with Kip Wells leading the way having not allowed an earned run this spring...Anthony Reyes is second with an 0.56 ERA
(1ER) and Adam Wainwright ranks third with his 1.08 ERA (2ER).
and
Chris Duncan is 3-3 in pinch hitting duties this spring with a single and two home runs...Preston Wilson smoked three consecutive doubles in last night’s win vs. LA and has four this
spring...Albert Pujols is tied for first among N.L. leaders with six doubles.

"C'mon you Redbirds, let's get some tallies!" as Mike Shannon would say.

Bloody hell. Twice thrown out stealing second today after reaching first against a tough lefty. tsk tsk.

The day is over for Wainwright, final line: 5 IP, ER, 3 H, 2 BB, 3 K. Pretty good, though he had the walks and I was hoping he'd get a little further as far as innings go. Looks good anyway.

Izzy in to pitch the 6th.

Tough inning for Izzy, but got out of it intact and it might have been different if not for the error.

Chris Duncan with another hit off the bench, he's 4-4 now as a pinch hitter this Spring, makes it 2-1 going top of the 7th.

How is it counted as a single if Rolen's out at 2nd? How exactly is Rolen out at 2nd anyway?

Please lose Jolbert Cabrera soon. Don't tell me there's a chance he'll make the team. The only upside to Jolbert is that he makes me like Miles better.
