Adam Kennedy got thrown out trying to steal off Sandy Alomar, Jr.

I don't really know how I feel about that, but I'm leaning towards not good.

Word is that Looper stayed behind to pitch in the minor-league game so he could get in his full day's work - 65-70 pitches, 5 or 6 innings. Had they had him do that against the Mets, there wouldn't be much work for the relievers they want to look at, hence the Ginter start - he'll probably only go 4 innings, which leaves plenty of innings for the others - Isringhausen, Springer, Dove, and Thompson are all scheduled to pitch today.

My mlb.tv stopped, too. I had to go back to the multi-media guide and click the broadcast link again. Working fine now.

Don't know about the gameday. I always assume it's running reaaaaalllly sloooooowww during spring training.

I'd rather ol' Ginter didn't come out this inning. I'm not so interested in seeing him pitch.

Never mind.

Ginter's out of there now after 4 solid innings - 1 hit, 1 walk, 3 K's.

I assume Izzy will be first man out of the pen - they want him pitching to the "real" players, not to the late-in-the-game group.

Izzy time

him healthy and Wells acting like a shorter Jeff Suppan are key this year

Supposedly they will have Izzy pitch both today and tomorrow and see if he can handle back-to-back appearances, then give him Sunday off.
