Looks like a clone of last night's lineup, including Molina in the 5 spot. According to DG, Wilson and Tags suck against Glavine (9 for 53, with Tags having only one single in 11 ab), so I don't know why Skip, Scott, or Chris aren't in the two spot. Oh well, we'll see how it goes.

I can understand why Duncan's not in the lineup. Opening day isn't really the time for him to get his practice in against lefties. Taguchi has hit lefties better than Duncan in the past and plays a much better defense. He made a crazy good catch last night, not sure how many of you saw it.
I'm a bit suprised that Pwilson is in the lineup over Speez. Speez tore it up this spring for the most part. He must not of looked that sharp against lefties (???) Again, Wilson provides some speed to the team and better defense.

Ya, your right. I would rather have Wilson in there. Spiezio gets his hits against lefties but he almost looks like a slap hitter. He has no power from the right side.Transmogrified Tiger wrote:Spiezio isn't very good against LHP.Ace wrote:I can understand why Duncan's not in the lineup.
