1 game in, and we have the first "season is over"Ace wrote:I honestly think the season is over.

No, there's not going to be enough offense to get it done.Ace wrote:I honestly think the season is over.

Yep...and all the GRB members at the game didn't cheer loud enough.greenback44 wrote:I was listening on the radio, and though my reception was poor, it sounded like Jocephus just wasn't enough of a fan.
This could be a tough year.
The only time I heard them is when Gooch was trying to make a play on that ball. I think they rattled him.stlouie_lipp wrote:Yep...and all the GRB members at the game didn't cheer loud enough.greenback44 wrote:I was listening on the radio, and though my reception was poor, it sounded like Jocephus just wasn't enough of a fan.

Yeah, I could tell that from the radio too.Mary1966 wrote:Leroy kept making non sequitur comments in the game chat and that threw all the players off.
I would imagine Duncan could have played about the same as Taguchi in LF, and at least get the ball out of the infield. I'm trying not to get too disapointed because, as you say, there are 162 games in a year.DynamicDynamite wrote:thats why there are 162 games in a year... you definately dont always look good when playing. I just find it funny that Taguchi flubbed some plays that a defensive outfielder should make, and then Wilson struck out and grounded into enough DP's....
not sure about everyone else out there but im sure JRod and Duncan could have done that
